Asim Iqbal - Project Manager / Game Producer

Title : Catch Me – You Are It
Platform: Mobile / PC
Position – Game Producer / Game Designer / Unity Environment Integration

Catch Me is a fast-paced multiplayer chase-and-escape game built around traversal, movement skills, power-ups, and competitive player interactions.

Game Producer

  • Lead the entire production cycle, including feature planning, milestone structuring, and sprint breakdowns.

  • Coordinate directly with the programming team, providing documentation, rules, and behavior logic for every gameplay feature.

  • Review builds, identify gameplay or technical issues, and set priorities for upcoming fixes and improvements.

  • Own the long-term direction, gameplay pillars, and design vision for the project.

  • Create all GDDs, flowcharts, and implementation documents for development.

Game Designer (Systems & Mechanics)

  • Designed the core gameplay loop: tagging logic, scoring, movement rules, escape mechanics, and match pacing.

  • Created and balanced traversal systems:

    • Sprinting

    • Jump variations

    • Glider

    • Jetpack

    • Ladder climbing

    • Rope climbing

  • Designed and balanced all power-ups, including:

    • Teleport

    • Invisibility

    • Smoke bomb

    • Banana trap

    • Speed boost

    • Wall-run ability

  • Defined all movement speeds, cooldowns, power-up durations, trap behaviors, collision logic, and player-to-player interactions.

  • Designed multiple game modes, including Classic Catch Me, Team vs Team, Last Man Standing, Gem Hunt Mode, and Objective Race Mode.

  • Built balance tables and tuning documents based on internal testing and gameplay feel.

Unity Environment Integration

  • Import all environment assets delivered by artists (3D, textures, props).

  • Set up materials, shaders, physics, and colliders inside Unity.

  • Assemble gameplay-ready scenes using the delivered environment art.

  • Place props, obstacles, hiding spots, and scene elements according to gameplay needs.

  • Configure lighting, post-processing, fog, and atmospheric effects.

  • Create prefabs, apply naming/organization rules, and maintain a clean project structure.

  • Optimize scenes using occlusion culling, LODs, static batching, and probe setups.

  • Work with programmers to fix visual or collision issues and prepare levels for testing.

Production Documentation

  • Player abilities and traversal rules

  • Power-up behavior tables

  • Game mode logic

  • Movement physics

  • Catcher vs escaper interactions

  • Technical implementation guidelines

  • Future expansion features
