Project Manager

  • Communicate with stakeholders to fully understand the project’s scope, requirements, and objectives.

  • Develop detailed project plans, including task lists, milestones, and sprint schedules using tools like Jira, ensuring all tasks are prioritized and assigned to the right team members with clear expectations.

  • Hold daily scrum meetings to track the team’s progress, ensure alignment with the project timeline, and identify any bottlenecks or challenges.

  • Proactively identify potential risks or issues that could affect the project’s success, develop mitigation strategies, and discuss them with stakeholders to ensure timely resolution.

  • Ensure the project remains on schedule and within budget, adjusting plans as needed and communicating any necessary changes with stakeholders.

  • Set a positive tone for the team, motivate team members, and address any conflicts or concerns that arise to maintain a productive and collaborative work environment.

  • Ensure that all deliverables meet the expected quality standards by coordinating with the QA team and conducting regular reviews throughout the development cycle

  • Produced clear and comprehensive technical documentation outlining the functionality and behavior of game systems, serving as guides for programmers, stored on Jira Confluence, and linked to corresponding tasks on Jira.

  • Identified workflow bottlenecks and collaborated with programmers to develop custom editor tools that improved efficiency and streamlined the development process.

  • Worked closely with developers to design and implement the core framework of the project, ensuring efficient and optimal use of shared assets, UI elements, and systems across multiple projects and platforms.

  • Generated game builds, and conducted bug checks.

  • Assessed game performance through profiling, identified performance bottlenecks, and implemented optimizations to ensure smooth and consistent performance across all target platforms.

  • Collaborated with designers, artists, and engineers to ensure that all game systems and mechanics are implemented as designed and are fully functional within the technical constraints of the project.

Lead Technical Artist / Designer

3D Artist

  • As the only artist on the team, I single-handedly created and managed the entire art development pipeline, including level design, UI, 3D asset creation (modeling, texturing), lighting, animations, and their integration within the Unity game engine.

  • Worked closely with developers to ensure seamless integration of art assets with the game's mechanics and systems, while optimizing workflows between art and development teams.

  • Personally optimized the performance of all 3D assets and scenes, ensuring an optimal gameplay experience for both mobile and VR platforms by handling tasks like light baking, shader optimization, and efficient scene management.

Job Role - Project Manager / Lead Technical Artist / Lead Designer / 3D Artist

These games are designed to teach English language skills using a cross-platform approach that includes mobile and VR technologies. The games utilize flashcards to help students practice and improve their listening, reading, and speaking abilities in a fun and interactive way.

Project Highlights

As the project manager and lead artist for the Language Learning project, I oversaw the entire development process from a raw prototype to a polished, final product ready for release. Working closely with the team, I assigned tasks, explained game mechanics, and playtested builds to provide feedback, both face-to-face and through Jira in scrum meetings. I took charge of all art-related tasks within Unity, managing the Unity scene files, creating and lighting levels, and organizing the scene hierarchy for optimal workflow and clarity. Building upon the company’s initial concept for three distinct games—focused on reading, listening, and speaking—I expanded on these ideas by designing the backgrounds, gameplay mechanics, visual effects, and overall game structure to support both mobile and VR platforms. Additionally, I was responsible for developing all in-game artwork and promotional materials, ensuring visual and functional coherence throughout the project.
